Red Devils News · Maci Head the “Homerun King”

Crestwood senior third baseman Maci Head slugged homerun number 10 on the season last night in a 17-12 Red Devils win at Wickliffe. This was career homerun number 22 for the Tiffin University commit giving her the most round-trippers in Crestwood softball history. The record was previously held by 2018 graduate Sierra Gregel. Head belted six homers in both her freshman and sophomore years.

Head now sits just one dinger away from tying the single-season homerun record, also held by Gregel. Head has 31 RBI on the year, while already owning the school single-season RBI record at 41 in 2019.

In addition, Maci collected career hit number 100 last Friday in a home win against Independence. With last season being lost to COVID, Head accomplished this feat in just over two and a half seasons.
