Multiple Teams · Tournament Update for Red Devils


The Red Devils continue to represent well in post season action…here is an update on scheduled next round match ups.  A reminder that all OHSAA tournament contests are $6.00 for adults & seniors and $4.00 for students.  There are absolutely no passes of any kind accepted for OHSAA tournament contests.

Here is all the schedule information for our Red Devils:

Girls Soccer:

The Red Devils Girl’s Soccer team received the 7th seed in the tough Division II Kent District and defeated PTC Metro rival Springfield 4:0 on Monday night.  Tonight they will move on to play the #2 seed…PTC Metro foe Field High School at Field at 7:00 p.m.

Middle School Volleyball:

The 7th grade team defeated Mogadore in round one and upset the #1 seed Rootstown to advance to the Championship match in the PTC County Tournament at 10 a.m. at Lake Center Christian School.

The 8th grade team plays in the semifinal match of the PTC County Tournament TODAY at 7:15 p.m. at Lake Center Christian School with an opportunity to advance to the finals on Saturday at 11:15 a.m.

Admission for the matches is $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students and seniors.

Volleyball:

The PTC Champion Red Devils received the 2nd seed in the Division II West Branch District, second only to Marlington. The PTC Champion Devils will “host” Alliance on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 11 a.m. at West Branch High School.  Should they win and advance, they will play in a District semifinal on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 6:30 p.m. once again at West Branch High School.

Cross Country:

The Devils Girl’s Cross Country team captured the PTC County Championships last weekend at the Randolph Fairgrounds while the boy’s placed 3rd in the County Division.  On Saturday, both teams will travel to Madison High School to run in the Madison DII District Championships beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Boy’s Soccer:

The Devil boys defeated the Benedictine Bengals 2:1 in overtime on Tuesday in the extremely competitive Division II Kent District and will travel to the #1 seed and #2 ranked team in Ohio, Revere High School, on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. at Revere.
